Newspaper Wall Street Journal recently announced the creation of a" club "of countries that managed to defeat the coronavirus at this stage. These are countries with approximately the same population who took isolation measures in time, and now the number of new patients in them has dropped to very small values.
We are talking about Austria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Greece, New Zealand and Israel .
These states intend to create a “tourist union” - to open doors for each other in order to save the dying tourism industry. WSJ writes that Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurtz initiated the project. Last week, the first video conference of the leaders of six countries took place. Kurtz, Netanyahu and leaders of other countries discussed the necessary conditions for the resumption of tourism in the "club of cured countries." This is mandatory wearing masks in public places and on airplanes, extensive testing in these countries. The possibility of quick testing with passengers on airplanes was also discussed. “Already, work is underway on a roadmap for opening borders between the countries of this club. Some of them are ready to receive the first tourists in the coming weeks, ”reports the WSJ journalist. In the European Union, many are dissatisfied with Kurtz’s initiative, as it turns out that tourism between Austria and Israel will recover sooner than between European countries and Italy and France. Germany, where the epidemiological situation is one of the most positive in Europe, refused to participate in the meeting of “winners of the coronavirus”, although it was invited to it.
