An American tourist during a tour of the castle-prison Castle Williams on the island of Governor was accidentally closed in the building. During the walk, the victim heard a massive metal door suddenly close behind her on the lock, WJLA reported. Screams of a frightened guest were heard by tourists from Britain who called for help. The woman had to sit in an enclosed space for an hour, because the guard did not have the right key. The release came only after the officer knocked down the castle. Recall that the castle Castle Williams was erected in 1811 as a defensive structure that protected the harbor of New York from the British. The bastion was inhabited by military prisoners until 1965.
