The authorities of Paris decided to close the main symbol of the country for security purposes, writes the news portal RIA. The Eiffel Tower will not be available to tourists on December 8, since this day will be the next large-scale rally of "yellow vests." It is worth noting that the decision to close the tower was made unscheduled and focused on aggravated unrest. All tourists who purchased tickets in advance will refund their full cost. The turbulent situation in the city associated with protests against the increase in fuel taxes did not subside even after the announcement of the authorities' decision to cancel the introduction of the new law. It is assumed that the demonstrators are unhappy with the general actions of the state apparatus.
