Red Book tigers were born in an Indonesian zoo

In the zoo of the city of Bukittingi in Indonesia, two Sumatran tiger cubs were born at once, writes the RIA news portal. Kids were born on December 16, but the zoo shared the good news only the other day. Sumatran tigers belong to the rarest representatives of the fauna and are listed in the Red Book. In total, there are 300 individuals on the island of Sumatra. That is why the replenishment of the number of rare cats has become a significant event. Currently, tiger cubs are under the supervision of veterinarians. In the future, there is a chance that they will be released into the wild.
