On New Year's Eve, almost 3 million people walked the streets of the capital

930,000 people met the New Year on the streets of Moscow, writes the news portal IRTERfax. After midnight, the number of people walking increased. In total, 2.6 million people spent New Year's Eve at the festive venues in the capital. It is worth noting that 8.3 million Muscovites and guests of the capital have already participated in the “Journey to Christmas” festival. The event will run until January 13 at 78 sites in Moscow. In addition, as part of the festival, on January 1, until 22.00, in the districts, on specially equipped places, theatrical performances, performances and free concerts were held, which everyone could attend. Regional events were organized on Profsoyuznaya, Gorodetskaya, Novopeschanaya, Mitinskaya, Yartsevskaya and Khachaturian streets, on Stroginsky and Orekhovy boulevards, Dmitry Donskoy boulevard, on Slavy Square, as well as in Zelenograd and Troitsk.
