Festive events in Nizhny Novgorod in the status of the official "New Year's capital of Russia" will start in December 2021 and will continue in the New Year holidays-2022.
It is noted that the Nizhny Novgorod masters of the Kazakovsky enterprise of art products made the traditional symbol of the project - "Crystal Snowflake" by hand using filigree technique. In January 2022, this symbol will be handed over to the city, which will become the next New Year's capital.
Previously, the title "New Year's Capital of Russia" was awarded to Kazan, Vologda, Vladimir, Sortavala, Tambov, Khanty-Mansiysk, Tula, Ryazan and Kaluga.
