In Switzerland, a museum opened in the rock

The new museum opened in the VII century monastery in a cave that goes deep into one of the cliffs of the Eastern Swiss Alps. The Muzeum Susch, as it is also called, could pass for the base of supervillains. The owner and founder is Grazyna Kulczyk, a collector and one of the richest women in Poland. Kulchik has always been obsessed with art, collecting paintings mainly from the hands of women artists since the 1970s. In the new museum, she seeks to showcase the work of women and "all artists whose work is possible, for political, social or economic reasons, did not receive due recognition." Some of the galleries of the new museum look like grottoes, others look like traditional white-walled constructions found in Chelsea. Rare types of wood and stone were used in construction and decoration, so even without exhibits in the new museum there is something to admire.
