Foreign tourists may fall under the rules of self-isolation.

The possibility of introducing restrictive measures to counter the spread of coronavirus in Russian cities has become one of the key topics of the marathon in support of the tourist industry #tourbusiness_no_stress on March 10. The release expert was the founder and head of the Svoj TS TS inking company Sergey Voitovich. The leader of the marathon, Tatyana Dmitrova (BANKO media holding) asked him if Moscow’s experience in self-isolation of foreigners from the list of Rospotrebnadzor is expected to be applied in other major tourist centers of Russia. The expert replied: "Now we need tough measures to prevent the epidemic from spreading." If the situation requires such drastic measures, then they must be applied in St. Petersburg, Kazan, Kaliningrad. But the fundamental condition is transparency of the rules for tourists and host companies: it is important to specify the rules for self-isolation as much as possible - to prescribe the duration of the restrictions, where and at whose expense the foreigner should be, what is the procedure for quitting quarantine, etc. There are no instructions yet. And without them, a feeling of uncertainty is created and tourists prefer to transfer their trips to Russia until greater stability. Thus, the expert would prefer a scenario of localization of the problem with the spread of the virus by limiting the number of foreigners in all tourist cities of Russia, if only to deal with coronavirus as quickly as possible. “Yes, we are not making some money. But if we introduce a special order for several weeks, until mid-April, for example, we could get rid of the threat of an epidemic, and on May 9 we all go out on the march of the Immortal Regiment. What I consider more important, ”said Sergey Voitovich.
