From January 11 to January 26, 2019, a baroque festival will be held in Malta, writes the RIA news source. The festival program includes epochal musical works theatrical performances in the baroque style. The festival is held for the seventh time in the city of Valletta, the cradle of Baroque and the capital of the island. The city was built in 1731 and taken under the protection of UNESCO in 1980. It should be noted that not only the capital of the island will celebrate a cultural event. Concerts will be held in the ancient cities of Mdina, Birgu, Vittoriosa and Sengley, L-Isla and several others.
