The picture of the 17th century was found during the renovation of the building for the Oscar de la Renta boutique in the heart of Paris, writes the news portal Interfax. The canvas measuring 3 by 6 meters was walled up in the wall of a house on Marignan street, presumably, it appeared there during the Second World War. The canvas is painted in oil and belongs to the brush painter of the court painter Louis XIV of Flemish origin named Arnaud de Vuez. It should be noted that the picture will be restored at the expense of the fashion house and will decorate the boutique. Installation of especially strong glasses and the strengthened protection is planned.
