On March 3, Ataturk Airport in Istanbul fully delegates all passenger air services to the new hub, writes the RIA news portal. The old port will be used for cargo transportation, aviation fairs, training and testing activities and hangar works. It is worth noting that air navigation will operate in the harbor until about 2023. Interestingly, the new airport of Istanbul may soon become the largest aviation hub in the world. The harbor aims to increase passenger traffic to 200 million people a year for ten years. The port plans to operate flights on 350 routes.
